Starting Fresh: Resetting for a Successful 2024

It's hard to believe that 2023 is coming to an end and I'm ready to refocus and reorganize my goals for 2024. My efforts this year were largely focused on researching equipment, redesigning my plan and comparing myself to others whom I aspire to be like. Since I am learning to give myself grace, I did complete two photography courses, came up with ideas for my freelance side hustle, and achieved other fitness goals.

But, let me tell you, time was wasted!!!

I decided for 2024 I am going to clear my google calendar and reset my previous goals for 2024. I have areas that are in dire need of a reset like my wellness, career, and home management.

So... how am I resetting my goals

Resetting or creating new goals will require a mindset shift, discipline, and time management. I realized a month ago I'm getting close to 40, so my wellness needs to be re-thought and transformed.   My current mind and body aren't the same as they were four years ago, and I was having trouble accepting that. This is go around, I'm letting God construct this reset while setting attainable and realistic goals based on where I'm at. By looking for God wholeheartedly first, I believe He will guide me to the dreams He has dreamed for me.

Let go, let God, and flow.

This same approach will be use towards my career goals and how I revamp managing my home. As the girls say, this is my year to glow up gracefully.

If you are resetting or creating new goals, remember to give yourself grace. Adjust when needed, prioritize your mental well-being, and always celebrate your progress. Inevitably, things will get in the way, but know when to rest, reset and adjust with grace. You got this!

scripture:

For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and hope. In the days when you pray I will listen. If you look for me whole heartedly you will find me. Jeremiah 9:11-13
